Austin & Erika Edmundson
Pirates Popcorn opened its doors in 2007 and quickly became a Greenville, NC favorite. In 2021, my husband Austin and I stepped in as the next generation of owners after his aunt and uncle passed the torch. I now lead the day-to-day operations with Austin cheering me on, proudly continuing the tradition of crafting small-batch gourmet popcorn made with quality ingredients.
Pirates Popcorn has always been about more than flavor. It’s about lifting up our community and sharing joy wherever we can.
Shipping time can vary based on where you are in the U.S. We are located in Greenville, North Carolina, so depending on your distance from us, shipping can span from 2-6 days!
The shelf life can vary based on flavors! Our Salted White, Butter, Sweet-Salty and Double Sweet have a shelf life of 7-10 days. Cheddars and Savories, 2 weeks and Sweets/Premiums 3 weeks!
To ensure the freshest popcorn, make sure your bags are closed well and out of heat/humidity! Some people will transfer the popcorn to a ziploc bag or airtight container after opening.
A majority of our year round flavors are gluten free! The only one that does contain gluten is Cookie Jar. Seasonal flavors can vary.
Vegan/Dairy Free options would be: Butter, Salted White, Sweet-Salty, Double Sweet, Cornfetti, Kettle Corn, Chocolate Pop, Cotton Candy, Buffalo, Salt & Vinegar and Vegan White Cheddar!
Yes! We make everything in-house. It all starts as a kernel and gets turned into one of our wide variety of flavors!
